1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mandate.ng, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. These Terms apply to all users, including property seekers, agents, landlords, owners, and companies using the service.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement to use Mandate.ng. You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.
Mandate.ng operates in Nigeria and is intended for users transacting within Nigeria.
3. Description of Services
Mandate.ng is a property-matching platform that helps connect property demand and supply through listings and urgent requests. Core services include:
- Creating listings and urgent requests for sale or rent opportunities
- AI-powered matching based on budget, location, property type, and related criteria
- AI chat assistance for refining briefs, understanding pricing, and improving listing quality
- Voice note support and transcription features inside supported chat experiences
- Unlocking contact details through pay-per-unlock or subscription credits
Mandate.ng is not a broker, agent, or property owner. We do not buy, sell, or own listed properties, and we do not guarantee that any match will lead to a successful transaction.
4. Refund Policy
Mandate.ng sells digital platform services including subscriptions, wallet credits, and contact unlocks. Digital services are ordinarily non-refundable once an unlock or subscription benefit has been delivered and consumed.
Exceptions may apply where:
- a lead is confirmed to be fraudulent, duplicated, or materially misleading;
- a technical error caused duplicate billing; or
- a payment was processed but the purchased service was not delivered.
Approved remedies may include restoration of unlock credits, service extension, or a monetary refund where appropriate. Refund requests should be submitted within 14 days to [email protected] with supporting evidence.
5. Privacy Policy
We collect account details, contact information, location, property information, device logs, and payment references necessary to operate the platform.
We use this information to:
- create user accounts;
- match buyers and sellers;
- send notifications;
- prevent fraud;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- improve our services.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
Users must provide accurate information, only upload properties they are authorised to market, avoid misleading or fraudulent listings, avoid spam and abusive conduct, not scrape platform data, and not attempt to bypass Mandate.ng payment systems.
Violations may result in listing removal, suspension, or permanent account termination.
7. Vendor & Seller Policy
Every vendor represents that they have authority to advertise each property.
Vendors must keep listings accurate and updated, remove unavailable properties promptly, respond professionally, and comply with Nigerian laws and applicable industry regulations.
Mandate.ng may moderate, reject, or remove listings that violate these standards.
8. KYC & Verification Policy
At registration we collect name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, account type, and location.
Where risk indicators exist, we may request additional verification such as government-issued identification, CAC documents, proof of ownership or agency, or other supporting documentation before allowing continued platform access.
9. Communication and WhatsApp Integration
Mandate.ng may send service communications through in-app notifications, email, and optional WhatsApp alerts. If you connect your WhatsApp number, you consent to receiving relevant updates including match alerts, listing verification prompts, and platform notices.
Where WhatsApp group ingestion or posting rules apply, users must comply with applicable rules, including:
- Property type and location restrictions
- Message relevance and anti-duplicate requirements
- Posting frequency, media, and timing limits where configured
You may opt out of WhatsApp notifications, but important updates may then be limited to in-app or email channels.
10. Fees, Pricing, and Subscription Plans
Mandate.ng uses a freemium model with optional paid features:
- Pay-per-unlock access to contact details for qualified matches
- Subscription plans that may include unlock credits, AI chat usage, WhatsApp alerts, and related premium features
Plan quotas, limits, and pricing may change over time as features evolve. Material pricing changes will be communicated before they take effect where required by law.
Where a user unlocks a contact and reaches out directly, Mandate.ng does not take any commission or percentage cut from that deal.
Where parties are contacted by M&D (a subsidiary of Mandate.ng) and M&D participates in facilitating the deal, M&D may take a percentage cut based on the industry-acceptable rate or as specifically agreed for that deal.
11. AML & Fraud Prevention
Mandate.ng monitors unusual activity including repeated fake listings, suspicious payment behaviour, and account abuse.
We reserve the right to decline transactions, suspend accounts, cooperate with regulators and law enforcement, and request enhanced verification where necessary.
12. Intellectual Property
All software, trademarks, branding, and platform content (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by Mandate.ng or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse engineer platform materials without written permission.
You retain ownership of your submitted content but grant Mandate.ng a non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content for operating and improving the service.
13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Mandate.ng does not guarantee uninterrupted service, listing authenticity, legal title status, or transaction outcomes.
Users are responsible for independent due diligence, inspection, and legal verification before entering any transaction.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mandate.ng is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from platform use or user-to-user transactions.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mandate.ng, its affiliates, and personnel from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your platform use, submitted content, violation of these Terms, or disputes with other users.
15. Termination and Suspension
Mandate.ng may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in unlawful conduct. You may close your account at any time, but you remain responsible for obligations incurred before closure.
16. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Users should first contact Mandate Support. We investigate complaints, review available evidence, and may temporarily restrict accounts while investigations are ongoing.
Platform disputes are first handled through good-faith negotiation. Where unresolved, disputes may proceed to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria in accordance with these Terms and applicable Nigerian law.
To the extent permitted by law, users waive participation in class or collective actions related to platform disputes.
17. Amendments
Mandate.ng may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish updates and may notify users through in-app messages, email, or WhatsApp where appropriate. Continued use after an effective update date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
